We planned our Nepal trip with about ten days in Thailand on the way home. We figured if we were going to travel that far by plane, we might as well see a little more of Asia. We spent about five days in Bangkok, staying at a hotel right on the Chao Phraya river. Our first morning, we headed out in a long tail boat to the floating market. We had about an hour at the floating market, and wish we had had more time to explore and taste all the different foods. In fact, our boat took off without us, while we were trying to finish a yummy soup. Tavo got upset, jumping up and down and crying, so they came back for us.
